One Thursday in September, Karen and Sarah joined forces with the AQR to make it happen and give the opportunity to everyone in field to get together with other like-minded individuals. Field Hub took place in a fun, social setting outside of work, conducive to discussing the trials and tribulations of working in field and generally having a good old chinwag!

We all met at the Slug and Lettuce in Islington Green, very conveniently located from my office and also a few others too, so I hear. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the lovely Karen and Sarah and offered a welcome drink of our choice from the bar.

As the wine flowed so did the conversations and I’m pleased to have had the opportunity to meet new contacts and be able to put names to faces for existing ones, too. They hailed from Rite Angle, Red Blue, Spinach, Acumen, Leo House, Hannelius and, of course, QRS and Field Initiatives. It was a successful night with fun had by all.

Huge thanks to Karen and Sarah for indeed making it happen. I look forward to seeing you both and anyone else in field who would like to join us at the next one in the New Year.
