The Global Data Quality initiative (GDQ)
The Global Data Quality initiative (GDQ) is a pioneering, cross-association collaboration uniting leading organizations across the research, insights, and analytics ecosystem to champion the highest standards of data quality worldwide.
AQR is a partner in the GDQ which also brings together organisations such as MRS, the Insights Association, ESOMAR, CRIC, SampleCon, AMEC, QRCA, the Research Society, VMÖ, and Intellus Worldwide.
All of these organisations are working collectively to address persistent and emerging risks to data quality in research, consumer insights, and analytics. Through shared guidance, rigorous benchmarking, and the Data Quality Excellence Pledge, GDQ empowers organisations to uphold integrity, transparency, and participant protection in every aspect of research. By fostering education, developing universal standards, and promoting accountability, GDQ ensures that high-quality data remains the foundation for trusted insights and informed decision-making across the globe. As part of this initiative AQR is working with the MRS and the QRCA developing new guidance on detecting and preventing fraudulent participation in qualitative research.
Only those businesses that are members of one of the GDQ partners can apply for the GDQ Pledge. This can either be individual members or corporate members.
If you wish to find out more about the pledge you can do so via the GDQ website:
